An internationally acclaimed Belly dancer and Burlesque performer, Princess Farhana is a highly respected and legendary artist.

With over 17 years of experience she has travelled the world and performed in front of Hilary Clinton, The Saudi Arabian Royal Family, and The Rolling Stones.

In March 2008 she was the subject of a documentary called “Underbelly: A Year in The Life Of Princess Farhana” and it was the night before the UK premiere of this film that Princess Farhana spoke to The Decadent Gent on Tassel Time.

Desmond O'Connor

Desmond O'Connor

An internationally acclaimed Musical comedian and MC, Desmond O’ Connor is one of the most popular acts on the UK Burlesque and Variety scene. A former musical director of the Cambridge Footlights, he performs regularly at shows, festivals as far afield as London, Dublin and an acclaimed appearance at the New York Burlesque Festival 2008.

His bawdy and sometimes darkly humorous lyrics all pour from his trusty ukulele which has been by his side during his own vaudevillian extravaganza, “And the Devil May Drag You Under” and the host of The Bizarre Ball in 2008.

Mr O’ Connor spoke to and even serenaded the Decadent Gent on this highly fun episode of Tassel Time.

Co-founder and Queen of The Ministry of Burlesque, Kittie Klaw is self described “model of impropriety and a muse of mirth”. A writer, essayist and highly skilled performer, she has been lauded one of the “major forces” of the UK burlesque renaissance and a keen scholar of the art form’s history within our culture. Her vast knowledge of Burlesque has led her to be a talking head on the subject for many television shows including writing and presenting profile on Burlesque legend Eliza Vestris for BBC Radio 4 in March 2009.

Kitten On The Keys

Burlesque and Musical Comedienne Suzanne Ramsay known throughout the community as Kitten on the Keys, is the toast of San Francisco’s Burlesque scene. Described by the French Press as a “Punk Rock Betty Boop” this gifted musician and talented performer she has travelled the world and left audiences wanting more of her unique blend of musical comedy and sassy cabaret antics.

Kitten is currently performing her long awaited one woman show, “Does This Piano Make My Ass Look Big?!” The Decadent Gent caught up with Kitten in 2007 while on tour in the UK with Punk legends The Damned and discussed her career and what it is that makes this lady tick!
